Frank Mayernick

As the former legislative affairs director for the Florida Department of Juvenile Justice (DJJ), Frank Mayernick has over 20 years of experience in and around the Legislative and Executive branches of government.

Prior to his tenure at the DJJ, Frank worked as the public safety lobbyist for the Florida Association of Counties during Article V funding implementation.  During law school he served under the Speaker’s Legislative Fellowship Program working in the House Rules Committee. Additionally, he served as an aide for Senator Charlie Clary (R-Destin) and Representative Jerry Melvin (R-Fort Walton Beach).  Our clients benefit because of Frank’s unique experience of having worked in an agency, an association and as a legislative aide and legislative committee staffer.

A member of the Florida Bar, Frank received his law degree from Florida State University College of Law in 2002 and his Bachelor of Science in Political Science from Florida State University. Frank is a native of many United States Air Force bases around the world having grown up as the son of an Air Force Colonel. Frank and Tracy Mayernick formed The Mayernick Group in 2010 and reside in Tallahassee, FL with their two daughters, Addison and Kennedy.
